ORDINANCE NO. 72-84
ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29-148, SUBSECTION (a)
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE PURPOSE OF
ADDING PARKING METERS TO THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE
800 BLOCK OF SIXTH STREET.
WHEREAS, parking meters have been requested on the south
side of the 800 Block of Sixth Street to improve accessibility
to the County Tax offices; and,
WHEREAS, the additional meters would not interfere with the
traffic flow of Sixth Street and would improve the pedestrian
traffic around the tax office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 29-148 , Subsection (a) of the Code of Ordinances is
amended by adding to the schedule under "Sixth Street" the following:
