ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTIONS 4-15, 22-1 AND 22-4 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ALLOW THE SALE, POSSESSION
AND CONSUMPTION OF BEER AT JAYCEE PARK ON AUGUST 25
AND 26 , 1984 , FOR RADIO CONTROL CLUB OF WICHITA FALLS
COMPETITION EVENT .
WHEREAS, the Radio Control Club of Wichita Falls is sponsoring
a competition event on August 25 and 26, 1984 , at Jaycee Park to
benefit to Muscular Dystrophy Association, and they desire permission
for sale , possession and consumption of beer at such event; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the circumstances involved
in this request are exceptional, and that such a request should be
granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
The provisions of Sections 4-15, 22-1 and 22-4 of the Code of
Ordinances are hereby waived to allow the sale, possession and
consumption of beer at the Radio Control Club of Wichita Falls
competition event in Jaycee Park on August 25 and 26 , 1984 .
