AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A FIFTEEN
(15) FOOT WIDE, NORTH-SOUTH UTILITY EASEMENT IN BLOCK 4,
PARK VILLAGE ADDITION, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning Board has recommended that the fifteen (15) foot
wide, north-south utility easement in Block 4, Park Village Addition be closed
subject to final platting; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems it
advisable and in the public interest to close, vacate, and abandon the utility
easement hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A 15 foot utility easement being generally 7.50 feet on either
side of the east line of Lots 1 and 2, Block 4, and the west line of Lot 3, Block 4,
Park Village Addition, an addition to the city of Wichita Falls, Wichita County,
Texas, said 15 foot utility easement being specifically described by metes and
bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point lying in the north right-of-way line of Nunn
Street, said point bears South 81° 25' 43" East 150.44 feet from the
point of intersection of the east right-of-way line of Harris Lane, and
said north right-of-way line of Nunn Street, said point being the south-
west corner and PLACE OF BEGINNING of this description;
THENCE parallel to and 7.50 feet west of the east line of said Lots 1
and 2, Block 4, North 05° 13' East 146.12 feet to a point lying in
the south line of a previously dedicated 10 foot utility easement,
said point being the northwest corner of this tract;
THENCE along said south line of a 10 foot utility easement, South 82°
17' East 29.37 feet to a point for the northeast corner of this tract;
THENCE South 49° 29' West 20.55 feet to an angle point;
THENCE parallel to and 7.50 feet east of said east line of Lots 1 and 2,
Block 4, South 05° 13' West 131.00 feet to a point lying in said north
right-of-way line of Nunn Street, said point being the southeast corner
of this tract;
THENCE along said north line of Nunn Street, North 81° 25' 43" West
15.03 feet to the place of beginning and containing .053 acre, more or
less;
be and the same is closed, vacated, and abandoned.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon the filing with
the Wichita County Clerk, a final plat of Lot 1-A, Block 4, Park Village Addition.
