ORDINANCE REAPPROPRIATING FUNDS BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS
WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSOLI-
DATING THE FIRE PREVENTION AND INSPECTION DIVISIONS,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the organizational change of merging the Fire Prevention Bureau
Inspectional Service with the Inspection Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Wichita Falls that:

Section 2. The City Council of the City of Wichita Falls , Texas has
determined that this action is in response to a growing public necessity and
it is an emergency reappropriation to meet unusual and unforeseen conditions
which could not have, by reasonable diligent thought and attention, been included
in the original budget. The fact that these amounts will be due and that they
are essential for the immediate use of the City of Wichita Falls creates an
emergency; therefore, this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage.
