RESOLUTION TO EXTEND LICENSE FOR EXPLORATION
AND PRODUCTION OF METHANE GAS AT OLD LANDFILL
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls granted to Clark Energy,
Inc. a license to explore and produce methane gas at the old
closed landfill adjacent to the River Road Wastewater Treatment
Plant;
WHEREAS, said license will expire on December 17, 1989;
WHEREAS, Clark Energy, Inc. has requested an extension of
the license; and,
WHEREAS, Council considers it to be in the best interest of
the City to extend the existing license without modification for
an additional three-year period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain license dated December 17, 1986 whereby the
City of Wichita Falls granted to Clark Energy, Inc. a license for
exploration and production of methane gas from an old closed
landfill is hereby extended for an additional three-year period
to December 17, 1992 .
