RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO INSTALL ROOF
ON JASPER STREET WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Brox
Industries, Inc. for the roofing of the Jasper Street Water
Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the original contract was in the amount of
32,479. 00 and two Change Orders have been approved in the amount
of $1,222 . 00 bringing the final contract price to $33 ,701. 00;
WHEREAS, the City has previously paid the contractor
26, 307 .99, leaving an amount due of $7, 393 .01; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has inspected the work and found it
acceptable, and has recommended the project be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to reroof the Jasper Street Water Treatment
Plant is hereby accepted as complete and the City Manager is
authorized to make a final payment of $7, 393 . 01 to the
contractor, Brox Industries, Inc.
