RESOLUTION SELECTING OPTION II FOR THE
MAURINE STREET REQUIREMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls wishes to construct
Maurine Street from Interstate Hwy. 44 to the Sheppard Access
Road; and,
WHEREAS, the State, acting by and through its State Highway
and Public Transportation Commission, has agreed to partially
fund this construction; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to select an alignment for the
proposed construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Option II is hereby selected. Staff is hereby directed to
acquire the necessary right-of-way from Sheppard Access Road
northeasterly to Pleasant View Drive to complete the realignment.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 19TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1989 .
