A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH MIDWESTERN STATE UNIVERSITY FOR CONTINUED
DEVELOPMENT OF A REGIONAL ECONOMIC DATA BASE
WHEREAS, the City Council entered into a contract with
Midwestern State University on April 19, 1988 for development
of a regional economic data base; and,
WHEREAS, the City' s present contract with Midwestern
State University expires on September 30, 1989; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council allocated $50,000 in the FY
1989-90 City budget for continuation of the City' s commitment
to Midwestern State University.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with
Midwestern State University in an amount not to exceed $50,000
for FY 1989-80 for continued development of a regional
economic data base.
