RESOLUTION TO APPROVE PROPOSAL OF TRAC
LABORATORIES, INC. TO PERFORM BIOMONITORING
TOXICITY TESTING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is required by the Texas
Water Commission discharge permit for the River Road Wastewater
Treatment Plant to begin conducting periodic biomonitoring
toxicity tests of the effluent from the treatment plant; and,
WHEREAS, the City issued a Request for Proposal for such
testing services, such proposals to be evaluated on the basis of
cost and other factors stated in the proposal; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has evaluated the proposals and the
Council has considered the evaluations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposal of Trac Laboratories, Inc. to perform periodic
biomonitoring toxicity tests for the City of Wichita Falls is
hereby accepted at a cost of $750. 00 per test, such tests to be
performed as stated in the specifications of the Request for
Proposal. The City Manager is authorized to commence using the
services of the laboratory.
