RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO TONY'S CHEMICAL
HOUSE FOR ANNUAL SUPPLY OF POLYMER FOR WATER
TREATMENT.
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for a chemical
polymer for use in water treatment;
WHEREAS, the water treatment staff has conducted the
necessary in-plant pilot tests to confirm the effectiveness and
quantities required for the three companies with the lowest bids;
and,
WHEREAS, the Magnifloc 592C polymer from Tony's Chemical
House is determined to meet all specifications of the bid at an
annual cost of $12 , 096. 00 and is the lowest, responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the annual supply of chemical polymer for water
treatment is awarded to Tony's Chemical House for the Magnifloc
592C product at an annual cost of $12, 096. 00.
