RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH TEXACO
PIPELINE INC. FOR RELOCATION OF UTILITIES FOR
PHASE II OF THE HOLLIDAY CREEK FLOOD CONTROL
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to cooperate with
the Corps of Engineers for the construction of the Holliday Creek
Flood Control Project; and,
WHEREAS, Public Law 99-662 requires the City to relocate all
utilities in preparation for the Holliday Creek construction;
and,
WHEREAS, the Texaco Pipeline Inc. has offered to relocate a
10" oil pipe line for the Phase II Holliday Creek Project in an
amount not to exceed $132,800. 00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Texaco Pipeline Inc. is authorized to proceed with the
relocation of the 10" pipeline across Holliday Creek on a utility
bridge, owned by the City, located in the Phase II construction
zone in an amount not to exceed $132,800. 00. It is further
agreed that Texaco Pipeline Inc. will bill the City for their
actual construction costs with the above amount to be a not to
exceed figure. The City Manager is authorized to execute for the
City the letter agreement dated August 10, 1989 with Texaco
Pipeline Inc.
