RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE REAPPOINTMENT OF
DAN TOMPKINS AND DOUGLAS BAKER AS SUBSTITUTE
JUDGES OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT FOR TERMS OF
TWO YEARS.
WHEREAS, heretofore the Mayor appointed Dan Tompkins and
Douglas Baker as substitute judges of the Municipal Court for
terms expiring August 31, 1989, which appointments were consented
to by the City Council by Resolutions No. 123-87 and 83-89; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Perry Goolsby has reappointed Dan Tompkins
and Douglas Baker as substitute judges of the Municipal Court, to
act in the place and stead of the Municipal Judge during any
period during which he is temporarily unable to act for any
reason; such appointment is for terms of two years, beginning
September 1, 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council hereby consents to such reappointment of
Dan Tompkins and Douglas Baker as substitute judges of the
Municipal Court for terms of two years, beginning September 1,
1989.
