RESOLUTION APPROVING CITY MANAGER'S SIGNATURE
ON THE CERTIFICATION STATEMENT FOR
INSTALLATION OF A WARNING SYSTEM AT THE
INTERSECTION OF NORTH BROADWAY WITH THE
BURLINGTON NORTHERN RAILROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to approve and
accept a project for the installation of a warning system on the
at grade crossing between North Broadway and the Burlington
Northern Railroad; and,
WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been identified from the
Traffic Engineering budget to meet the City's obligation of
7,500. 00 for this installation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to sign the certification
statement approving and accepting the installation of the warning
system at North Broadway with the Burlington Northern Railroad
and to pay a City share of $7,500. 00 to account of Trust Fund
927 in care of the State Treasurer for the this installation.
