RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE MUNICIPAL COURT
ANNEX PARKING LOT REPAIR PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Merit Engineering and Construction, Inc. with the
estimated total cost $21,295 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
22,796. 18 of which $9, 074.84 has been previously paid to the
Contractor, leaving amount due of $13,721. 34; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Municipal Court Annex Parking Lot Project is hereby
accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment
to the Contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 1ST DAY OF AUGUST, 1989.
