RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1989 STREET
REHABILITATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Zack Burkett Company with the estimated total cost
of $336, 354 . 10 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
348,736.90 of which $313 , 650. 81 has been previously paid to the
Contractor, leaving an amount due of $35, 086. 09 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1989 Street Rehabilitation Project is hereby acceptable
and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
Contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 1ST DAY OF AUGUST, 1989.
