RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR INSTALLATION OF
ROOF AT JASPER STREET WATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for installation of a roof on several buildings of the Jasper
Street Water Treatment Plant, which bids were to be made on a
lump sum basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is
Brox Industries, Inc. , who bid a lump sum price of $32,479. 00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such lump sum bid of Brox Industries, Inc. in the amount of
32,479. 00 is hereby accepted, and the requirement to submit the
Construction Trade Assurance Form with the bid is waived, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City
with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
