RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO UTILITY
CONTRACTORS OF AMERICA, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF THE 1988-89 BUDGET UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for construction of the 1988-89 Budget Utility Improvements
Project, which bids were to be made on a unit price basis; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is
Utility Contractors of American, Inc. , who bid unit prices with
an estimated total of $ 479, 396. 10.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such unit price bid of Utility Contractors of America, Inc.
with an estimated total of $ 479, 396. 10 is hereby accepted, and
the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City
with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 18TH DAY OF JULY, 1989.
