Ord 102-84 9/4/1984 o + i ORDINANCE NO. /t791-6/ ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTIONS 4-15 AND 4-24 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ALLOW THE SALE OF BEER AT OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CHURCH ON SEPTEMBER 15 AND 16 , 19 84 . WHEREAS, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church is holding their annual Mexican Independence Day Celebration on the grounds of the church located at 606 Homes Street in Wichita Falls on September 15 and 16 , 1984; this celebration is one of their parish's biggest fund-raising projects, and the proceeds therefrom will be used by the church to support its various programs; and, WHEREAS , they have requested that the City grant them a waiver of ordinances which will allow them to sell beer at such celebration; and, WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the circumstances involved in this situation are exceptional, and that a waiver of Sections 4-15 and 4-24 of the Code of Ordinances should be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The requirements of Sections 4-15 and 4-24 of the Code of Ordinances are hereby waived to allow the sale of beer at such celebration at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 606 Homes Street on September 15 and 16 , 1984 .
