ORDINANCE REAPPROPRIATING FUNDS
BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS WITHIN THE GENERAL
FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING A
FIRE TRUCK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The following accounts be adjusted by the amounts shown below for
the purpose of transferring $22,000 from the Police Department to the Fire
Department for the purpose of buying a fire truck.

SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has
determined that this action is in response to a growing public necessity, and it
is an emergency expenditure to meet unusual and unforeseen conditions which
could not have, by reasonable diligent thought and attention, been included in
the original budget. The fact that this amount will be due and that it is
essential for the immediate use of the City of Wichita Falls creates an emergency;
therefore, this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
