AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING PORTIONS
OF A RAW WATER PIPELINE EASEMENT BETWEEN GREGG ROAD AND
BARNETT ROAD
WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Division has recommended closure of por-
tions of a raw water pipeline easement to reduce the width from fifty (50) feet
to thirty (30) feet between Gregg Road and Barnett Road; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems it
advisable and in the public interest to close portions of the easement hereafter
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
The outer ten (10) feet on either side of the width of a fifty (50)
foot wide raw water pipeline easement, lying between the east right-of-way line
of Gregg Road and the west right-of-way line of Barnett Road, said easement being
granted to the City of Wichita Falls by I.H. Kempner of Galveston County, Texas,
and recorded in Volume 435, Page 382, Wichita County Deed Records and running with
the land, be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
