ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTIONS 4-15 AND 4-24 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ALLOW SALE, POSSESSION AND
CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND WINE AT OUR LADY QUEEN OF
PEACE PARISH HALL FOR THE NOTRE DAME BAND PARENTS
CLUB ' S ANNUAL SPAGHETTI SUPPER ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER
4 , 1984 .
WHEREAS, Notre Dame Band Parents Club is having its Annual
Spaghetti Supper on Sunday, November 4 , 1984 , at Our Lady Queen of
Peace Parish Hall, and the club has requested permission to sell
beer and wine at such dinner; and,
WHEREAS, the proceeds from such dinner are to be used to
send the Notre Dame High School Band to State Competition; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the circumstances involved
in this situation are exceptional, and that a waiver of Sections
4015 and 4-24 of the Code of Ordinances should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT :
The requirements of Sections 4-15 and 4-24 of the Code of
Ordinances are hereby waived to allow sale, possession and consump-
tion of beer and wine at such Annual Spaghetti Supper on Sunday,
November 4 , 1984 .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of October, 1984 .
