AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING BUDGETARY CONTROL
LEVEL FOR EXPENDITURE MONITORING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
THAT:
The budget appropriation as adopted shall be monitored for expenditure
control at the classification level within each budget unit. The classification
levels shall be personnel services, supplies, maintenance and repair, services,
sundry, and capital outlay. The City Manager may establish such subsidiary
accounts within each classification level as may be desireable for budget
preparation and other purposes. Budget transfers are not required to cover
negative balances in such subsidiary accounts so long as the classification
level in which such accounts are included retain an overall positive balance.
