RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH NCNB TEXAS TO ACT AS REGISTRAR/PAYING
AGENT FOR THE TEXAS WATER DEVELOPMENT BOND SALE.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls must renovate and
expand the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant in order to
meet newly imposed effluent standards and achieve a capacity
and state-of-the-art technology that will serve the citizens
of Wichita Falls for the next quarter century, and must
install a new, large capacity sewage collection interceptor
line;
WHEREAS, the federal and state governments are jointly
making available low interest loans from a perpetual fund
known as the State Revolving Fund ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
The City of Wichita Falls has obtained financial
assistance from the Texas Water Development Board in the
form of a low interest loan from the State Revolving Fund ,
such loan proceeds to be used for the expansion and
modernization of the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant
and installing a major sewage collection interceptor line.
In order to facilitate the issuance of bonds for this
project , the City Manager is hereby authorized to sign a
contract with NCNB Texas as registrar/paying agent for the
Texas Water Development Bond Sale.
