RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO J. E. HAYNES
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR LAKE KICKAPOO DAM
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of certain modifications to the dam at Lake
Kickapoo, which bids were to made on a unit price basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is
J. E. Haynes Construction Company, who bid unit prices with an
estimated total of $797,203 . 00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such unit price bid of J. E. Haynes Construction Company
with an estimated total of $797, 203.00 is hereby accepted, and
the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City
with said contractor for the construction of such project.
