RESOLUTION WAIVING PAYMENT OF A PERCENTAGE OF
GROSS SALES TO CITY DURING FALLSFEST ON JUNE
14-17, 1990, IN LUCY PARK.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2509, as amended by Resolution Nos.
34-85 and 51-89, provides that the City of Wichita Falls shall
receive an established percentage of all admission tickets, food
and drink concession, and merchandise concessions conducted in
public parks, and;
WHEREAS, it is desired that the payment of a percentage of
gross sales be waived for FallsFest in Lucy Park on June 14-17,
1990; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the circumstances
involved in this request are exceptional, and that such waiver
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Resolution No. 2509, as amended by Resolution Nos. 34-85 and
51-89, be waived insofar as said resolution requires payment of a
percentage of gross sales for admission tickets, food and drink
concessions, and merchandise concessions during FallsFest in Lucy
Park on June 14-17, 1990.
