RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE NORTH
TEXAS REGIONAL NARCOTICS TASK
FORCE/1 GRANT AWARD
Whereas, the Criminal Justice Division, Governor's
Office has notified the City of Wichita Falls that a grant
award designated as North Texas Regional Narcotics Task
Force/1 has been awarded to the city, acting as coordinating
agency, and
Whereas, $312, 204 in federal funds are being provided
for this project by the state and the participating agencies
will provide matching cash in the amount of $104 , 070,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to accept
said grant award on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls and
to sign the acceptance notice as the City's authorized
official.
