RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH SHEPPARD
AIR FORCE BASE FOR THE TREATMENT OF SEWAGE AT
THE NORTHSIDE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, Sheppard Air Force Base intends to close its
wastewater treatment facility and is seeking a contractual
relationship with the City of Wichita Falls whereby the City will
treat the Sheppard sewage at a City-owned treatment facility;
WHEREAS, the staff has recommended approval of an amendment
to the existing water contract between the City and Sheppard Air
Force Base to allow treatment of the raw sewage by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Modification P00007 to Contract Number F41612-78-D0003, said
contract between the City of Wichita Falls and Sheppard Air Force
Base, is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to
execute the contract modification for the City.
