RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PAINTING AND GENERAL
REPAIRS PROJECT AT JASPER STREET WATER
TREATMENT PLANT AND LAKE ARROWHEAD PUMP
STATION AS COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Merit
Engineering & Construction, Inc. for Painting and General Repairs
at Jasper Street Water Treatment Plant and Lake Arrowhead Pump
Station;
WHEREAS, the project is now complete and the City staff has
recommended that Council accept it;
WHEREAS, the original contract amount of $160,800. 00 was
reduced by one Change Order to a final contract price of
155, 943 . 21; and ,
WHEREAS, the City has made previous payments of $152,824 . 35,
leaving an amount due to the contractor of $3, 118 . 86.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project of Painting and General Repairs at the Jasper
Street Water Treatment Plant and Lake Arrowhead Pump Station is
accepted as complete and the City Manager is authorized to make a
final payment of $3, 118. 86 to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 3rd day of April, 1990.
