RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXERCISE OPTION TO CONTRACT WITH
LONE STAR MUSIC COMPANY FOR CIGARETTE
VENDING MACHINES AT VARIOUS CITY FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Lone Star Music
Company entered into a contract dated March 21, 1989, providing
for the installation of vending machines for the sale of
cigarettes at various City facilities for the period beginning
April 1, 1989, and ending March 31, 1990; and,
WHEREAS, said contract provides for the extension of the
contract for an additional one-year period upon like terms and
conditions at the mutual agreement of the parties; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend the contract for an
additional one-year period as provided in the contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That the City Manager is authorized to exercise option to
extend contract with Lone Star Music Company for the installation
of vending machines for the sale of cigarettes.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of March, 1990.
