RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CONTRACT TO PROVIDE
SCHOOL HEALTH NURSING SERVICES TO THE CITY
VIEW INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT BY THE
WICHITA FALLS-WICHITA COUNTY HEALTH DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, since 1984, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Health
District has contracted with the City View Independent School
District to provide limited school health nursing services to
their schools; and,
WHEREAS, the costs for such services to the school district
have remained the same as were set in the original contract; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to raise the costs associated with
providing the nursing services to the school district, to bring
such costs in line with the costs charged to the Wichita Falls
Independent School District; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that such increase in
costs for services is warranted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The contract between the City View Independent School
District and the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Health District,
dated November 6, 1984, is hereby amended to reflect the
following changes in compensation: the hourly rate for nursing
services is increased from $15.75 to $17.75. The per mile travel
charge is changed from $0.20 per mile to $0. 21 per mile.
