RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT HOLLIDAY CREEK PHASE III
UTILITY LINE ADJUSTMENT PROJECT AS COMPLETE
AND AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE FINAL
PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Opex,
Inc. for relocation of certain utility lines across Holliday
Creek in anticipation of Phase III of the Holliday Creek Flood
Control Project;
WHEREAS, the original contract with change orders is in the
estimated amount of $232 ,427, and the City has paid the
contractor $220,415. 04 , leaving an amount due to the contractor
of $20, 336.96; and,
WHEREAS, the Staff has inspected the project and found it
acceptable, and has recommended the Council accept the project as
complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to relocate utility lines across Holliday Creek
for Phase III of the Holliday Creek Flood Control Project is
hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make a
final payment of $20, 336.96 to Opex, Inc.
