RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG HANDICAP ACCESS
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO B.D.
HAYNES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with B.D. Haynes Construction Company with the estimated
total cost of $31,455. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
41,610. 30 of which $37,449.27 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $4, 161. 03 ; and
WHEREAS, City staff has inspected the work and found it to
be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG Handicap Access Project is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
