RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO MID-CONTINENTAL
SERVICES FOR ANNUAL SUPPLY OF POLYMER FOR
WATER TREATMENT
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for a chemical
polymer for use in water treatment;
WHEREAS, the Water Treatment Staff has conducted the
necessary analysis to confirm the effectiveness and quantities
required for the various products;
WHEREAS, the Magnifloc 592C polymer from Mid-Continental
Services is known from prior use to meet all specifications of
the bid and is the lowest responsive bid at an annual cost of
10, 300. 50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the annual supply of chemical polymer for water
treatment is awarded to Mid-Continental Services for the
Magnifloc 592C product at an annual cost of $10, 300. 50.
