RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO INSTALL
CONCRETE WORK AT WATER FACILITIES AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has contract with Scales
Concrete Company for the installation of certain concrete work at
the Cypress Street Water Treatment Plant and 287 West Elevated
Storage Tank;
WHEREAS, the work has been completed and found acceptable by
the City staff;
WHEREAS, the original contract was for an estimated amount
of $14,871. 10 and the actual amount of work accomplished was
16,468.60;
WHEREAS, the City has previously paid the contractor
13 ,998.31, leaving an amount due of $2,470.29; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has recommended acceptance of the
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install concrete work at water facilities is
hereby accepted as complete and the City Manager is authorized to
make a final payment of $2,470.29 to Scales Concrete Company.
