RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE RE-ROOF OF FIRE
STATIONS #6 AND #8 AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO ARMORED ROOFING COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Armored Roofing Company with the estimated total
cost of $15,854.00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
15,854. 00 of which $14,268. 60 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $1,585.40; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Re-Roof of Fire Stations #6 and #8 is hereby accepted
and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
