RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND
AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
FOR THE CDBG RIVER ROAD \ WILLIAMS DRIVE
OVERLAY PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
dated January 4, 1990 for the CDBG River Road \ Williams Drive
Overlay Project; and,
WHEREAS, said project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a unit price contract and the
total cost based on actual quantities is $126,560.72 ; however,
118,552. 68 has been paid to the contractor, and $1, 680.00 has
been deducted for liquidated damages, leaving a balance due of
6, 328. 04; and,
WHEREAS this project was inspected and complete on June 15,
1990.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to
pay the contractor the amount as set out above.
