RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN AGREEMENT WITH LONE
STAR GAS COMPANY FOR THE RELOCATION OF A 6"
INTERMEDIATE PRESSURE GAS MAIN AT SOUTHWEST
PARKWAY TO FACILITATE THE PHASE III
CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOLLIDAY CREEK FLOOD
CONTROL PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to proceed with
the Phase III Holliday Creek Flood Control Project; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is responsible for the
relocation of all utilities; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to enter into an agreement with
the Lone Star Gas Company for the relocation of a 6" gas main
located adjacent to Southwest Parkway across the Holliday Creek
facility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The agreement between Lone Star Gas Company and the City of
Wichita Falls for the relocation of a 6" intermediate pressure
gas main is hereby approved at a not to exceed cost of
49,721. 00.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 26th day of June , 1990.
