Res 106-90 6/5/1990RESOLUTION NO. /©4-7Q RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF CRAIG, SHEFFIELD AND AUSTIN, INC. , FOR CONSTRUCTION OF RIVER ROAD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for construction of major modifications at the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant, which bids were to be made on a unit price basis; WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Craig, Sheffield and Austin, Inc. of Grand Prairie, Texas, who bid unit prices with an estimated total of $19,572 , 000; WHEREAS, this project is being funded by the State Revolving Fund administered by the Texas Water Development Board; and, WHEREAS, the closing procedures for the loan from the State Revolving Fund requires the contract to be awarded contingent on funding by the Texas Water Development Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: Such unit price bid of Craig, Sheffield and Austin, Inc. with an estimated total of $19,572, 000 is hereby accepted contingent on funding by the Texas Water Development Board, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with said contractor for the construction of such project, the contract execution to be in accordance with Texas Water Development Board rules.
