RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT 1989 BUDGET PROGRAM
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AS
COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with
Channel Construction Company, Inc. for certain sanitary sewer
improvements as part of the 1989 Budget Utilities Improvements
Project, said contract in the amount of $182,396. 00;
WHEREAS, the work has been completed at a cost of
177, 673 .00 and the staff has inspected the work and found it
acceptable; and,
WHEREAS, the City has previously made payments to the
contractor in the amount of $174, 119.54, leaving an amount due of
3, 553 .46.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to improve sanitary sewer lines as part of the
1989 Budget Utilities Improvements Project is hereby accepted as
complete, and the City Manager is authorized to make a final
payment of $3,553 .46 to channel Construction Company, Inc.
