RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND
AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
FOR THE CDBG SCOTLAND PARKING LOT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
dated January 4, 1990 for the CDBG Scotland Parking lot Project;
and,
WHEREAS, said project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a unit price contract and the
total cost based on actual quantities is $36, 342 . 62 ; however,
25, 013 .85 has been paid to the contractor, and $187.25 is owed
by the Contractor for additional testing, leaving a balance due
of $11, 141.52 ; and,
WHEREAS this project was inspected and complete on May 20,
1990.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to
pay the contractor the amount as set out above.
