RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 FOR
RIVER ROAD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with the
construction firm of Craig, Sheffield and Austin, Inc. for
certain modifications and additions at the River Road Wastewater
Treatment Plant, said contract having an original contract price
of $19,572, 000. 00;
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 adjusted the contract total to
19, 372, 000. 00;
WHEREAS, certain additional changes are required, said
changes being incorporated in Change Order No. 2 with a net
increase in the contract price of $26, 130. 01, bringing the new
contract total including all change orders to $19, 398, 130. 01; and
WHEREAS, the Council has examined Change Order No. 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 2 to the contract with Craig, Sheffield &
Austin, Inc. for additions and modifications at the River Road
Wastewater Treatment Plant is hereby approved with a net increase
of $26, 130. 01, bringing the adjusted contract price including
this and previous Change Orders to a total of $19, 398, 130.01.
The City Manager is authorized to sign Change Order No. 2 .
