RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 FOR
LAKE KICKAPOO DAM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with J.E.
Haynes Construction Company, Inc. for construction of certain
improvements to the Lake Kickapoo Dam;
WHEREAS, certain changes are required in the specifications
of work to be performed, and these changes are documented in
Change Order No. 2 ;
WHEREAS, the original contract price of $797, 203 . 00 was
reduced by Change Order No. 1 to $780, 956. 50;
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 will increase the contract price
by $8, 167. 50 to a new contract total of $789, 124 . 00; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined Change Order No. 2 and
determined it is necessary for the orderly process of the work to
continue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 2 to the Lake Kickapoo Dan Improvements
Project is approved with a net increase in the contract price of
8, 167 . 50, bringing to new contract total to $789, 124. 00. The
City Manager is authorized to execute Change Order No. 2 .
