RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE HAMILTON BOULEVARD
DRAINAGE PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
TO B. D. HAYNES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a Unit Price
contract with B. D. Haynes Construction Company with the
estimated total cost of $105, 545.80 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
108,834.73 of which $98,780.24 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $10, 054.49; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Hamilton Boulevard Drainage Project is hereby accepted
and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
