RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1989-1990 STREET
REHABILITATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO B. D. HAYNES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a Unit Price
contract with B. D. Haynes Construction Company with the
estimated total cost of $397, 133 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
396,498.44 from which $6,240. 00 has been deducted for liquidated
damages and the contractor has been previously paid $382, 328.47,
leaving amount due of $7,929.97 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1989-1990 Street Rehabilitation Project is hereby
accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment
to the contractor.
