RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT 11TH AND HOLLIDAY
SANITARY SEWER LINE REPAIR PROJECT AS
COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE
FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with
Channel Construction Company, Inc. for repair of a sewer line at
11th and Holliday Streets;
WHEREAS, the original contract amount of $25, 000 was
reduced by one approved change order to a final contract price of
24, 600;
WHEREAS, we have previously paid the contractor $24, 108,
leaving an amount due of $492 ; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has inspected the project, found the work
satisfactory and recommended the City Council accept the project
as complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to repair a sanitary sewer line at 11th and
Holliday is hereby accepted as complete and the City Manager is
authorized to make a final payment of $492 to Channel
Construction Company, Inc.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 20th day of November, 1990.
