Res 181-90 11/6/1990RESOLUTION NO. /f/- & RESOLUTION ACCEPTING TERMINATION OF CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR ON THE WEEKS PARK GOLF CART PATH PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract dated July 17, 1990 for the Weeks Park Golf Cart Path Project; and, WHEREAS, contractor has completed only a part of the work on said project as required under his contract with the City; and, WHEREAS, it is the desire of both parties that the above referenced contract be terminated; and, WHEREAS contractor acknowledges receipt of previous payments by the City of Five Thousand Six Hundred Twenty Two and 84/100 ($5, 622 .84) Dollars for work performed under this contract. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The Contract for said project is terminated by the City of Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay the contractor the amount of Four Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Nine and 93/100 ($4,429.93) Dollars for balance of work performed under the contract.
