RESOLUTION APPROVING FIRST AMENDMENT TO
LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE WICHITA FALLS
RAILROAD MUSEUM FOR LOTS 3-9, BLOCK 177,
ORIGINAL TOWN OF WICHITA FALLS TO INCLUDE
LOTS 1 AND 2 OF THE SAME BLOCK
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls currently has a one-year
lease agreement with the Wichita Falls Railroad Museum for Lots
3-9 in Block 177 of the Original Town of Wichita Falls; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls owns Lots 1 and 2 in
Block 177 of the Original Town of Wichita Falls; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the lease agreement to
include Lots 1 and 2 in Block 177 of the Original Town of Wichita
Falls;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Certain First Amendment to Lease Agreement with the Wichita
Falls Railroad Museum, a copy of which is attached hereto, is
hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
same for the City of Wichita Falls.

FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT WITH
THE WICHITA FALLS RAILROAD MUSEUM FOR
LOTS 3-9, BLOCK 177, ORIGINAL TOWN OF
WICHITA FALLS TO INCLUDE LOTS 1 AND 2
OF THE SAME BLOCK
This First Amendment made and entered into this the
day of September, 1990, by and between the City of Wichita Falls,
hereinafter referred to as "City" and the Wichita Falls Railroad
Museum, herinafter referred to as "Railroad Museum. "
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the parties hereto have entered into a lease
agreement for Lots 3-9 in Block 177, of the Original Town of
Wichita Falls for the period beginning June 5, 1990 and ending
June 5, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the lease agreement to
include Lots 1 and 2 in Block 177, of the Original Town of
Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the parties do hereby agree
that the following section is hereby amended to read as follows:
1. City does hereby lease unto Railroad Museum the
following described tract of land situated in Wichita County,
Texas, towit:
All of Lots 1-9, Block 177, Original
Townsite of the City of Wichita Falls
This First Amendment executed as of the day and year first
set out above.
