RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING FIRMS OF ALAN PLUMMER &
ASSOCIATES, INC. AND CORLETT, PROBST AND
BOYD, INC. FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED
TO TOXICITY REDUCTION EVALUATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is required by the Texas
Water Commission to conduct a Toxicity Reduction Evaluation at
the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the TRE Plan and Schedule developed by the
engineering consulting firms of Alan Plummer & Associates, Inc.
in association with Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. has been
approved by the Texas Water Commission;
WHEREAS, Phase A of the Plan and Schedule begins on October
1, 1990 and requires specialized engineering services;
WHEREAS, the City desires to continue using the engineering
services of Alan Plummer & Associates, Inc. in association with
Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. ; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract for
the engineering services for the first phase of the TRE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with Alan Plummer & Associates, Inc.
in association with Corlett, Probst and Boyd, Inc. is approved
with a total maximum fee of $44,769. 00, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute the contract for the City of Wichita Falls.
