RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO ANNUAL MAINTENANCE
CONTRACT WITH DIGITAL EQUIPMENT CORPORATION
FOR MAINTENANCE OF POLICE COMPUTER HARDWARE
WHEREAS, the Police Computer System utilized Digital
hardware, and
WHEREAS, the continued success and development of the
system depends upon maintenance by Digital Equipment
Corporation, and
WHEREAS, the current maintenance contract expires
October 24, 1991,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract
with Digital Equipment Corporation for continued maintenance
of the systems hardware from October 25, 1990, through
October 24, 1991, in the amount of $25,848. 00, and to sign
said contract.
