RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT WINDTHORST/RATHGEBER
WATER DISTRIBUTION PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with H & S Utilities, Inc.
for installation of a water distribution system in the
Windthorst/Rathgeber Road area;
WHEREAS, the original contract was for $232, 349. 22 and one
change order was approved to bring the new contract price to
233 ,856. 11;
WHEREAS, the actual amount of work accomplished was
234, 603.77 and the City has previously paid the contractor
211, 008.51, leaving a balance due to the contractor of
23, 595.26; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has inspected the project, found it to be
acceptable, and recommended the Council accept the project as
complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install a water distribution system in the
Windthorst/Rathgeber Road area is accepted as complete and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of $23,595. 26
to the contractor.
